Thanks to the special support of the City of Florence and the Florence Convention Bureau, the opening session of TORQUE 2024 will be held in the breath-taking “Salone dei Cinquecento”. This worldwide famous room was the hearth of the ancient city of Florence. The room is part of “Palazzo Vecchio”, the most iconic palace of Florence’s city center and the still the official city hall. Built in the 14th century, it served as the seat of government for the Republic of Florence and later for the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. The external and internal ornate of the palace, including the Salone dei Cinquecento and the Medici Chapel, make it a must-visit attraction in Florence.
